Base pay range

$70,720.00/yr - $72,800.00/yr

Shift

Monday to Thursday 12 PM — 10:30 PM, OT/On-call as needed

*Must hold Grade 3, 2, or 1 Stationary Engineer License*

***Sign on bonus up to $5,000***

What this job involves

Stationary Engineers will be responsible for the overall maintenance, operation, and cleaning associated with the operation of a large industrial utility's facility providing Steam, Hot Water, Instrument and Zero Air, Chilled water, and other services to a manufacturing facility. They should expect to monitor system operations, perform predictive maintenance, and respond to equipment needs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Maintenance and operation of utilities systems such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, heat pumps, cooling towers, and related equipment.
• Performing safety, maintenance, and operating procedures, including scheduled and corrective maintenance.
• Conducting predictive maintenance tasks like Ultra Sonic Leak Detection, Thermal Scans, and Vibration Analysis.
• Routine equipment cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Operating systems in a control room environment.
• Diagnosing and resolving operational problems to ensure environmental compliance.
• Reading blueprints, specifications, and operating procedures.
• Maintaining records and providing logbook entries.
• Supporting energy conservation measures.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in utilities systems maintenance and operation.
• Familiarity with boilers, chillers, air compressors, heat pumps in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Boiler Operator License (Grade 2 or 3) in Maryland.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to learn and grow on-site.

Preferred qualifications:

• Universal Refrigerant Management certification.
