Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an experienced facilities technician to maintain and repair hospital equipment and building systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include keeping accurate equipment logs, ensuring safety, and performing maintenance across mechanical, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. A valid state license and relevant trade certification are preferred; the role is full-time with variable shifts. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics and blueprints.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Certified/licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering (e.g., steam boiler, HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Maintains logs on all hospital equipment and ensures a safe working environment.

• Ensures building and related systems are properly maintained and up to standards.

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in hospital and provides for a safe working environment. Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintains the building and its related systems. Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineering.

• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade that is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc)
