Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Elgin, IL, is seeking a maintenance specialist to oversee logs for hospital equipment, ensuring safe operations. You will repair mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance and medical gas systems, and must be certified/licensed in a trade related to healthcare engineering.

A high school diploma is required and a valid driver’s license is essential. The role is full-time with day shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package is provided as part of Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Five years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade related to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
