Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Station Manager for the San Diego station to lead P&L and daily operations, focusing on service quality, cost control, and stakeholder collaboration. The role oversees staff engagement, customer satisfaction, and GoGreen initiatives while coordinating with AFR product and the global network.

Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, guiding field sales visits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

• Knowledge of station level administrative matters.
• Ability to take ownership and drive station solutions independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage Station’s EBIT result.
• Ensure employee engagement and target for best results.
• Improve customer satisfaction via Service First and process improvements.
• Drive GoGreen agenda.
• Represent the station to authorities and employees.
• Lead negotiations with external suppliers.
• Support field sales visits to key clients.
• Make hiring decisions at station level with higher approval as needed.
