DHL Global Forwarding expects a Station Manager to lead the SAN station in San Diego, oversee P&L, and drive efficient, compliant operations. You will engage staff, collaborate with the AFR product and global network, and ensure top‑tier service to customers.

The role emphasizes cost control, GoGreen actions, and strong partnerships with authorities and suppliers, while guiding field sales and client visits to close opportunities.

Formación

• Experience leading P&L and station operations.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Manage Station's EBIT result.
• Ensure employee engagement and target setting for best results.
• Improve customer satisfaction through Service First and process improvements.
• Drive GoGreen initiatives and sustainability.
• Represent the station to local authorities and act as legal representative.
• Lead negotiations with external suppliers and key accounts.
• Assist Field Sales and Key Account Sales on client visits where beneficial.
• Make hiring decisions at station level with appropriate approvals.
• Set and evaluate performance targets; ensure policy adherence.
