Job summary

Altius Talent is seeking a Station Manager for a Houston-based freight forwarding operation. You will own end-to-end air and ocean imports/exports, lead the warehouse and customer service teams, and manage the station’s performance and P&L to drive growth.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in freight forwarding, proven leadership across operations, and a track record of improving service, cost control and compliance in a fast‑growing U.S. branch.

Job description

A fast-growing US-owned freight forwarder is looking for a Station Manager to run its Houston branch. You would take end-to-end responsibility for the air and ocean operation, the warehouse and customer service teams, the service performance and the station profit and loss. The branch is growing, and the client wants someone who can scale it properly.

The role

• Run the Houston station across air and ocean, import and export.
• Lead the operations, warehouse and customer service teams.
• Own the station P&L and hit productivity, service and margin targets.
• Manage airline, carrier, trucker and agent relationships.
• Keep the station compliant on TSA, dangerous goods and customs.

You'll fit if
