Job summary

PTS Advance is seeking a Static Equipment Engineer on a 24-month contract in the United States to support equipment integrity, reliability, and turnaround planning. The role emphasizes developing risk-based, code-compliant scopes of work for safe turnaround execution.

You will partner with engineering and operations, translate RBI findings into actionable scopes, and develop ITPs and repair scopes in line with API/ASME NBIC standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • 5+ years of engineering/maintenance experience in petrochemical/heavy industrial environments.
  • Experience with turnaround scope development and risk-based prioritization.
  • Experience with API/ASME/NBIC standards and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop risk-based static equipment scopes for turnarounds.
  • Translate RBI findings and equipment history into actionable work scopes.
  • Develop and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) based on codes and risk.
  • Develop detailed repair scopes, technical work instructions, and execution requirements.
  • Support lifecycle planning and asset integrity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, inspection, and engineering teams.
