Job summary

ALTIVIA in La Porte, TX seeks a Maintenance, Mechanical Integrity, Turnaround & Projects Engineer to lead maintenance programs, mechanical integrity compliance, outage planning, and capital projects in a PSM-regulated facility.

You will manage equipment reliability, inspect records, coordinate contractors, and guide field teams through turnarounds and critical maintenance events, while ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering required.
• Minimum of five years in maintenance engineering, mechanical integrity, or related roles.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing or PSM-regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA PSM and mechanical integrity standards.
• Experience coordinating contractors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and sustain maintenance, mechanical integrity, and reliability programs.
• Maintain OSHA PSM Mechanical Integrity compliance and support audits.
• Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Manage equipment design files, inspection records, and asset management docs.
• Serve as equipment owner for fixed assets including pressure vessels and piping systems.
• Lead turnaround, outage, and Total Plant Outage planning and execution.
