Job summary

PTS Advance seeks an E&I Reliability Engineer to guide electrical and instrumentation reliability across the refinery, improving time between failures while reducing downtime and maintenance costs.

The role collaborates with the refinery to sustain engineering practices, SIS lifecycle management, and compliance with NFPA, API, ISA, and EPA standards, ensuring safe, reliable asset performance.

Qualifications

• 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required)
• Four (4) or more years Oil & Gas, or related experience (Required)
• Eight (8) or more years Oil & Gas, or related experience (Ideal)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site technical resource for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Analyzer reliability and compliance programs across refinery operating units.
• Provide engineering technical support to operating units, environmental activities, and plant projects to improve reliability, process safety, and environmental performance.
• Maintain and improve E&I asset reliability programs for electrical power distribution, instrumentation, process analyzers, CEMS, ambient air monitoring systems, PLCs, SIS components, transmitters, control valves, motors, switchgear, MCCs, transformers, and protective devices.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain PMs, PdMs, inspection, testing, calibration, and QA strategies based on standards, OEMs, FMEA, data and regulatory requirements.
• Support analyzer reliability and compliance activities including baseline calibration and documentation, sampling integrity, and emissions monitoring systems.
