Job summary

The State Bureau of Investigation is seeking a Victim Services Advocate/Coordinator to support statewide victims of violent crime. This grant-funded, full-time role partners with the Special Victims Unit to coordinate services, train staff, and improve procedures.

Responsibilities include engaging with victims and families, developing training, hosting support meetings, and coordinating with DA offices and federal partners. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of public administration and grants/contracts.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Experience with program management, training and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Interact with victims and families to coordinate services within the justice system.
• Develop and present statewide victim services training and best practices.
• Host victim support meetings and coordinate with DA offices, tribes and federal partners.
• Educate agents and OSBI teams about victim services resources.
• Distribute materials to ensure victims receive needed information.
