Job summary

CCSAO is seeking a Victim Services Supervisor to oversee Victim Specialists at multiple courthouse locations, including Skokie, Maywood, and Bridgeview. The role leads daily operations, ensures compliance with victims’ rights, and coordinates training and staff support.

You will act as a liaison between victims, witnesses, and the States Attorney’s Office, maintaining case accuracy and confidentiality while guiding staff to handle complex cases and referrals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or five years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated empathy and understanding of victims’ rights as defined by law.
• Experience working with crime victims and protective orders.
• Ability to travel to multiple courthouse locations and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations with Victim Specialists including interactions with ASAs, victims, witnesses, court personnel and partners.
• Provide onboarding training and ongoing professional development for staff.
• Serve as liaison between victims/witnesses and the States Attorney’s Office.
