Job summary

The University of New Hampshire in Durham seeks a Rural Health Transformation Training Lead to design and implement a statewide simulation-based training platform focused on rural health workforce development.

You will lead instructional design, collaborate with clinical and academic partners, and build sustainable training infrastructure with asynchronous, synchronous, and in-person offerings across New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Healthcare Education, Public Health, Health Professions Education, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in workforce development, training program management, instructional design, healthcare education, or related field.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale training programs or learning platforms.
• Experience developing synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid learning experiences.
• Experience providing leadership, supervision, or coordination of staff, project teams, or instructors.

Responsibilities

• Design statewide simulation‑based training platform and infrastructure.
• Deploy assets to ensure standardized distance-based training and accessibility.
• Coordinate partnerships for training content and resources.
• Lead instructional design staff and develop central training materials.
• Coordinate logistics to ensure timely, high‑quality execution of training activities.
• Support ongoing evaluation and continuous improvement of training programs.
