Job summary

University of New Hampshire is seeking a Training Lead to design, develop, and implement a statewide simulation‑based training platform for rural New Hampshire communities. You will oversee instructional design, collaborate with faculty, and guide workshops across asynchronous, synchronous, and in‑person formats.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Healthcare Education, Public Health, Health Professions Education, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in workforce development, training program management, instructional design, healthcare education, simulation education, or a related field.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale training programs, educational initiatives, or learning platforms.
  • Experience developing and delivering synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid learning experiences.
  • Experience providing leadership, supervision, or coordination of staff, project teams, faculty, consultants, or other contributors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, priorities and timelines simultaneously.
  • Experience building and maintaining collaborative partnerships across healthcare, education, government, nonprofit, community, or workforce development organizations.
  • Experience utilizing learning management systems (LMS), educational technologies, or digital learning platforms to support training delivery and engagement.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data to support program evaluation, continuous improvement, and decision‑making.
  • Ability to travel throughout New Hampshire as required.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evolve a statewide simulation‑based training platform serving rural and underserved communities.
  • Deploy assets developed in the SIM core to ensure standardized distance-based training, education standards and accessibility requirements are met.
  • Support the development of a cohesive, statewide approach to simulation‑based workforce development.
  • In collaboration with the Executive Director, Enterprise Integration and Operations, design and implement a multi‑year sustainability plan, which include fee‑for‑service models and other long‑term funding strategies.
  • Contribute to long‑term strategic planning and growth of the RHT simulation and training ecosystem, in alignment with broader Rural Health Transformation goals.
