Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking a Religious Services Assistant Administrator, Business Operations Manager 1 (Salem/Hybrid) to lead 22 chaplains across Oregon's 12 correctional institutions. The role emphasizes professional, statewide religious services and coordination of diverse faith needs.

You will report to the Administrator of Religious Services, supervise staff, and drive statewide initiatives while collaborating with community partners.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of lead work or supervision experience; OR two (2) years of related experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, and supervision to 22 Chaplains across Oregon's 12 institutions.
• Ensure consistent, professional, and responsive religious services statewide.
• Collaborate with the Administrator of Religious Services to advance program goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and diverse faith traditions.
• Coordinate with institutional leadership to address statewide initiatives and priorities.
