Job summary

The Oregon Department of Corrections is seeking a Religious Services Assistant Administrator, Business Operations Manager 1 (Salem/Hybrid) to lead a team of 22 Chaplains across Oregon’s 12 institutions, ensuring professional and responsive religious services statewide.

You will report to the Administrator of Religious Services, provide supervision and coaching, and collaborate with community partners to meet diverse spiritual needs.

Qualifications

• Five years of lead work, supervision, or related experience.
• Alternative: two years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience supervising employees with coaching and feedback.
• Experience coordinating programs across multiple locations.
• Experience building relationships with community organizations.
• Experience working with diverse cultures and faith traditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Chaplains across Oregon’s 12 institutions.
• Coordinate religious services statewide with institutions.
• Collaborate with leadership to advance program goals and priorities.
• Foster partnerships with community faith groups and external partners.
