Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of basic management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis methods.
• Ability to supervise people and manage a consultative program.
• Ability to determine work priorities and ensure completion.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships.
• Ability to assess budgetary needs and develop policies.
• Experience with data organization for reports and analyses.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Knowledge of JJIS and PMM is a plus; Excel proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and manage contract functions for the Prevention program area.
• Supervise, motivate, train, and evaluate staff; hire, transfer, or discipline as needed.
• Assign contracts to staff and monitor statewide contract management.
• Develop program definitions for contracts and amendments.
• Monitor performance metrics and service level goals; track training requirements.
• Develop manuals, guidelines, and standards for contract file maintenance.
• Coordinate meetings with program staff and management; generate performance reports.
• Provide technical assistance to contract managers and providers.
• Communicate with external customers to maintain positive relationships.
• Collaborate with QA units to schedule compliance events and audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and other agencies on contract payments.
