Job summary

State of Wyoming seeks a Network Manager to lead statewide network, telecom, firewall, and connectivity operations for the Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services. You will oversee the NOC, telecom/circuits, and Unified Network functions while ensuring reliability, security, and customer-focused services.

The role includes directing architecture standards, budgets, and vendor performance, with accountability for service roadmaps and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology or related field required.
• 4-6 years of progressive work experience in technology management or equivalent.
• Experience at Technology Management II level or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct statewide network operations with focus on WAN, LAN, wireless, and NOC services.
• Supervise teams, including hiring, performance reviews, and staff development.
• Set architecture standards and roadmaps for network modernization.
• Manage firewall operations, security controls, and risk remediation.
• Oversee telecom, circuits, vendors, and service quality and renewals.
• Administer budgets, contracts, licenses, and procurement; ensure governance.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and ITSM processes; lead incident reviews.
• Translate strategy into measurable network outcomes and report health and risks.
