State of Wyoming seeks a Network Manager to lead statewide network, telecom, firewall, and connectivity operations for ETS, translating strategy into reliable, secure, documented services with measurable outcomes.
You will direct the Network Operations Center, Telecom/Circuits, and Unified Network functions, overseeing staff, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder communications while driving modernization and service reliability.
The Network Manager leads statewide network, telecom, firewall, and connectivity operations for ETS by translating strategic direction into reliable, secure, documented, customer-focused, and sustainable services. Directs the Network Operations Center, Telecom / Circuits, and Unified Network functions and is accountable for service reliability, architecture, modernization, resources, vendors, staff, and stakeholder communication.

Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience in leadership, workforce development, employee coaching, and performance management.
Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience in the planning, design, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure.
Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience managing network operations, including routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, segmentation, WAN connectivity, and service reliability.
Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience managing technology budgets, contracts, vendors, telecommunications carriers, licensing, and service-level agreements.
Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience developing operational standards, policies, procedures, network diagrams, disaster-recovery documentation, and technical staff cross-training programs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Computer Technology)
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Technology Management II
OR
6-8 years of progressive work experience typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Technology Management II
