Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a college or university.
• Four years of professional experience in corrections, juvenile justice, criminal justice, law enforcement, recreation, education, health services or related fields.
• A master's degree will substitute for one year of the required experience.
• Additional related experience may substitute for the education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, recommends and administers a major program area for the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), specifically juvenile reentry programming statewide.
• Develops policy and procedures regarding juvenile reentry and collaborates with agency and stakeholders.
• Collects and analyzes data and produces reports for stakeholders and the agency.
• Develops, implements and enforces policies and procedures related to juvenile re-entry statewide.
• Attends youth multi-disciplinary team meetings and conducts program monitoring.
