Job summary

Commonwealth of Kentucky's Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice seeks a Justice Program Administrator to lead statewide training programs within the Learning Management System (LMS). This executive-branch, full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree and four years of relevant professional experience, with a prohibition on medical cannabis use in this position.

The employee will report to the Justice & Public Safety Cabinet and collaborate across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Four years of professional experience in related fields such as corrections, juvenile justice, or law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers all training programs statewide within the LMS for DJJ.
• Builds training programs and classes within the LMS according to approved agendas and summaries.
• Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for assigned duties.
• Plans, creates, and updates all Training Programs statewide within the LMS and coordinates with staff.
• Reviews reported issues and troubleshoots with staff and escalates when needed.
• Manages paperwork retention for the Division per ACA/PREA standards.
• Assists with ACA and PREA audits, open records, and legal inquiries.
• Maintains the training calendar and ensures priority scheduling for required trainings.
