Job summary
Illinois Department of Children and Family Services seeks a Statewide GROWTH Consultation Program Manager to oversee coaching and consultation efforts with child welfare leaders and teams. The role involves supervising staff, monitoring program fidelity, providing expert consultation on partnering with individuals with lived experience, and representing the department in outward-facing activities.
This is a full-time salaried position based in Chicago.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field.
- Four years of progressively responsible administrative experience in human services.
- Three years of supervisory or management experience in child welfare or similar human services programs.
- Three years of experience with birth parents, youth, and/or foster caregivers with lived experience in child welfare.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.
- Ability to pass a background check.
