Job summary

LSSI is seeking a program supervisor to lead and train staff delivering services under approved plans and agency policies. You will supervise assigned staff, ensure productivity, and maintain accurate data and reports to meet funding and regulatory requirements.

The role requires a Master’s degree in social work or a related field, 3–5 years in social services, and active licensing as required by the Illinois DCFS, plus CWEL. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are necessary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related human services field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in social services.
• State licensing/certification as required by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.
• CWEL License required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to client emergencies 24/7, attend court and related matters.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Background check clearance (criminal and CANTS).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Valid Illinois insurance coverage for liability.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized training and feedback to staff.
• Review and evaluate assigned staff performance.
• Meet productivity requirements set by leadership.
• Supervise staff to deliver services per service plans and regulations.
• Submit data, billings, and reports accurately and timely.
• Communicate with leadership and partners about client status.
• Collaborate with management on programmatic and fiscal issues.
