Job summary

Working Families Party (WFP) is seeking a Wisconsin Regional/Statewide Organizer to grow our grassroots base in Milwaukee and across the state. You will recruit leaders, coordinate volunteers, and participate in candidate recruitment, endorsements, and ongoing organizing tactics.

You will develop programs to recruit organizers across movement groups, strengthen partnerships, and lead get-out-the-vote efforts including canvassing launches and election-day activities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of organizing experience.
• Candidates should have at least 3 cycles of campaign experience.
• A passion for grassroots and grasstops organizing.
• A commitment to social, economic, and racial justice.
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage organizing campaigns.
• Ability to communicate compellingly about WFP’s work to inspire action.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Wolf Pack volunteer program with a goal of recruiting hundreds of volunteers.
• Train Wolf Pack volunteers and build grassroots leadership.
• Build a recruitment pipeline by engaging communities around issues and candidates.
• Organize and recruit volunteers for campaigns or PAC-led efforts.
• Design and manage member development and political education opportunities.
• Build durable relationships with leaders of allied organizations.
