Job summary

State of South Carolina's Freshwater Fisheries Section seeks a supervisory administrator to manage day-to-day operations across Hatchery, Diadromous Fish, and Freshwater Mussel units. You will oversee coordinators, ensure timely reporting, and enforce state and federal policies.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and coordinating multiple units within a fisheries program.
• Ability to prepare, monitor and report on budgets and grants.
• Knowledge of federal grant compliance and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as administrative leader for Hatchery, Diadromous Fish, and Freshwater Mussel units.
• Ensure reports, inventories, procurement, and accounting paperwork are compliant and timely.
• Assist staff with supervisory issues and budget oversight for grants and projects.
• Coordinate federal project reporting and compliance for assigned units.
• Develop industry partnerships and participate in strategic meetings with leadership.
