Job summary

Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) seeks a Program Director, Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program Technical Assistance Provider (FYSCP TAP). You will lead statewide support, develop the program framework, and ensure delivery of technical assistance to county offices across California.

The role oversees monitoring, staff delivering TA, and guiding implementation of FYSCP statewide, requiring strong leadership, policy knowledge, and experience in education and child welfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, public administration or related field, recognized by CHEA.
• Five years of countywide Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program experience, including development, implementation, and management.
• Five years experience, with three years providing training and technical assistance to foster youth programs in collaboration with CDE.
• Master’s degree preferred; CA driver’s license and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide support for Foster Youth Services Coordinating Programs.
• Develop and maintain program framework and technical assistance delivery systems.
• Provide services to county offices of education throughout California.
