Job summary

The Carol Glanville for State Senate Campaign in Michigan is seeking a highly-motivated Field Director to implement the field plan, plan canvassing events, and coordinate with partners and stakeholders. The Field Director reports to the Campaign Manager and leads turf prioritization, volunteer recruitment, and canvassing operations.

You will recruit and train volunteers, manage scheduling, set and coach goals for staff and interns, and oversee absentee voter outreach.

Qualifications

• At least 1 election cycle of campaign field experience.
• Experience with software such as Votebuilder (VAN), Mobilize, and ControlShift.
• Comfortable with Excel and Google Docs/ Sheets.
• Strong writing and communications skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet goals and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and prioritizing turf.
• Recruit, train, and manage field volunteers and interns.
• Manage canvassing schedule.
• Create goals and coach staff/ volunteers/ interns to success.
• Manage absentee voter chase program.
