Job summary

Carol Glanville for State Senate in Michigan is seeking a full‑time Field Director to own the campaign's ground game from launch through Election Day. You will build the field plan, lead the team, and be accountable for voter contact goals across the district.

The role requires a senior-level ability to design and execute field operations, recruit volunteers, and manage data-driven strategies, with Michigan ties strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ campaign field experience preferred.
• Michigan ties are strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in VoteBuilder required.
• Proven ability to recruit and manage volunteers at scale.
• Strong communicator with disciplined organizational habits.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as well as a phone and laptop.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive field plan through Election Day.
• Build and manage canvassing and phone banking programs at scale.
• Recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams and precinct-level leadership.
• Own VoteBuilder: targeting, turf cutting, data hygiene, and reporting.
• Set weekly voter contact goals and hold yourself and your team accountable to them.
• Report progress and adapt strategy based on data and ground conditions.
• Coordinate with campaign leadership, the party, and allied organizations.
