Job summary

Educators for Excellence is seeking an expert Organizer to support our campaign initiatives and coach educators to be effective campaign advocates.

This is a 2-year term-limited position. The Organizer will support all ongoing campaigns across Connecticut, with 50% of time dedicated to strategic compensation campaigns. The role requires statewide travel and evening/weekend work as campaigns demand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in community organizing, issue advocacy, or education campaigns.
• Experience coordinating campaigns or organizing efforts within education settings is preferred.
• Comfortable with outreach via phone, text, and email and able to travel statewide in CT.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive grassroots opportunities to advance E4E's campaigns.
• Coach and develop educator leaders to run campaign tactics and become spokespeople.
• Lead training events, recruit participants, and manage campaign milestones.
