Job summary

State of Louisiana is seeking an experienced architect to lead the design and evolution of statewide document lifecycle architectures that support creation, ingestion, storage, retrieval, workflow, and retention across enterprise systems. You will define patterns, assess platforms, and advise executive leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years IT experience, OR 6 years in any field plus 5 years IT experience.
• Assoc degree + 5 years IT exp.
• Bachelor's + 5 years IT exp.
• Bachelor's with 24 semester hours in IT/CS/Eng/Math/Analytics + 4 years IT exp.
• Master's + 4 years IT exp.
• Experience substitution: 30 semester hours equals 1 year of experience; max 120 sem hrs equals 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Leads the design, evaluation, and evolution of statewide document lifecycle architectures across enterprise systems.
• Provides architectural guidance to leadership and teams; translates requirements into designs and frameworks.
• Reviews major system designs and enhancements for alignment with standards and statewide objectives.
• Addresses architecture risks, tradeoffs, and dependencies tied to document lifecycle systems.
• Develops architectural roadmaps and modernization initiatives; evaluates emerging technologies.
