Job summary

Texas A&M Forest Service in College Station is seeking a TFS Dispatch Supervisor to lead the dispatch function. You will supervise staff, oversee training, QA/QI, compliance, data interpretation and strategic planning, and collaborate with other dispatch supervisors to ensure high‑quality emergency response.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred) in emergency management or related field, at least four years’ experience with a fire or emergency response

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Emergency Management, Fire Administration, Business Administration, Science or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience with a fire or emergency response agency.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to assigned dispatch function area and supervises staff.
• Oversees training, QA/QI, compliance, data interpretation and strategic planning.
• Collaborates with other dispatch supervisors to ensure high quality emergency response.
• Manages budgets, space, systems and equipment related to dispatch operations.
• Engages in security-sensitive duties and HIPAA-related considerations as required.
