Job summary

Junior Achievement of Washington (JAWA) in Auburn, WA, is seeking a Statewide Development Manager to drive statewide fundraising and corporate partnerships. This hybrid role reports to the Chief Development Officer and focuses on expanding revenue and engagement across Washington.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of fundraising experience, with strong relationship-building, storytelling, and strategic leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Minimum of seven years of successful fundraising experience including corporate and foundation solicitation.
• Strong track record in securing corporate partnerships, sponsorships, grants, and philanthropic support.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of comprehensive fundraising strategies including corporate annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, grants, partnerships, and campaigns.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners aligned with JAWA's mission.
• Develop donor materials, presentations, proposals, and stewardship communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporations, foundations, educational institutions, nonprofits, and community stakeholders.
• Manage a portfolio of corporate partners with strong stewardship and long-term engagement.
• Oversee annual, recurring, and special fundraising campaigns with timely progress reporting.
• Analyze donor trends and fundraising performance to inform strategy.
• Maintain accurate fundraising records in databases and systems.
• Assist with budget planning, revenue forecasting, and campaign reporting.
• Collaborate with the Resource Development Committee to support priorities and calendar.
