Job summary

The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) seeks a Statewide Central Intake Supervisor to lead the CPS intake unit, supervise staff, and ensure compliant, timely reporting of referrals and investigations.

Ideal candidates will hold a relevant Bachelor's degree, have extensive experience in case management and safety planning, and be prepared for after-hours work and travel as required; strong collaboration and training abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required; seven years combined education/experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in working with communities on health or social service matters, social work or case management experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and route referrals to local offices; document incoming reports and provide resource information.
• Oversee CPS investigations and case management to ensure safety, permanency, and well-being of children.
• Lead workers, supervise staff, review time sheets, leave requests, and schedules.
