Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) seeks an experienced Engineer 8 to serve as Construction Engineer Administrator in the Office of Project Delivery. The role provides statewide oversight for more than 400 active projects with an annual program of about $800–$900 million across nine districts.

The incumbent leads planning, administration, and delivery while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Formación

• Possession of a current Louisiana professional engineer license is required and two years of supervisory experience or eight years of professional engineering experience.

Responsabilidades

• Directs statewide construction program planning, development, and delivery in compliance with laws, policies, and budget constraints.
• Negotiates and resolves complex construction contract issues with contractors and FHWA.
• Establishes statewide construction policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for nine DOTD Districts.
