Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Human Services Program Executive 2 to lead behavioral health policy and grant work across the state. You will guide major programs and help shape statewide initiatives for mental health and substance use systems.

In this role you will oversee program leadership, evaluate performance, supervise staff, and coordinate with state and federal partners to align goals. The position offers telework options up to three days per week and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Human Services Program Executive 1 or equivalent Federal Government title.
• Five years of professional experience in development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations, including three years of supervisory or consultative experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training with three years in supervisory or consultative roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, evaluation, and improvement of behavioral health Medicaid and grant programs.
• Review data, regulations, and proposals to shape policies and program standards.
• Manage staff work, provide feedback, and support employee development.
• Coordinate with state and federal partners to align program goals.
• Monitor program activities, review reports, and recommend changes.
