Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Human Services Program Executive 2 to lead behavioral health policy and grant work across the state. You will guide major programs, shape statewide standards, and collaborate with multiple agencies to advance mental health and substance use initiatives.

The role emphasizes leadership, program development, and supervisory responsibilities to improve statewide behavioral health services. Telework may be available part-time, with in-office requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Human Services Program Executive 1 or equivalent.
• Five years of professional experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes three years of professional consultative or supervisory experience in the development, implementation, or evaluation of a human services program or program operations.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership: Guide development, evaluation, and improvement of behavioral health Medicaid and grant programs
• Policy Direction: Review data, regulations, and proposals to shape policies and program standards
• Supervisory Duties: Manage staff work, provide feedback, and support employee development
• Cross Agency Coordination: Work with partners across state and federal agencies to align program goals
• Operational Oversight: Monitor program activities, review reports, and recommend needed changes
