Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a County Mental Health Program Specialist 1 to support Beaver County Behavioral Health. You will monitor programs, help develop new initiatives, and provide guidance to families and community partners to strengthen the system of care.

Responsibilities

Program Development and Implementation: assess needs and facilitate projects to expand or create new behavioral health programs.
Quality Management and Performance Monitoring: participate in meetings, case discussions, incident reviews, and evaluations.
Regulatory and Contract Oversight: interpret rules, approve funding, monitor contracts.
Community Outreach and Education: meet with providers, families, and partners, explain programs, coordinate training.
Technical Assistance and Support: help providers, families, and partners resolve conflicts and meet requirements.
