Job summary

Arbors at Woodsfield in Ohio is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to join our care team. Starting wages range from $18.50 to $22.63 per hour, with pay calculated by experience and shift, and flexible pay options.

You’ll deliver basic nursing assistance, help residents with daily living activities, and respond to signals promptly. A CNA certification is required, with a preference for six months in long-term care, and a supportive environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required in state of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding.
• Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists resident with ambulation for short distance in facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
