Job summary

Arbors at Minerva seeks a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to provide basic nursing assistance under supervision and help residents with daily living activities.

Responsibilities include aiding residents with grooming, feeding, mobility, and medication-related tasks while maintaining dignity and comfort. CNA certification is required, and prior LTC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Six months experience in a long‑term care environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
• Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
• Assist residents with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas.
• Assist resident with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assist resident with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and intake/output.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
