The Avenue at Lyndhurst, a Progressive Quality Care facility in Lyndhurst, Ohio, is seeking a dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) to deliver compassionate care for residents transitioning from hospital to home. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and report changes to licensed nurses, while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Provide basic nursing tasks including vital signs and report changes to licensed nurses.
• Support feeding, toileting, transfers, and safe mobility of residents.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for individualized care plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate care and monitor residents' comfort and safety.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to supervising staff promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living and document observations.

As a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate physical, medical, emotional, and spiritual care to our residents.

About the Role:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing basic nursing care, including vital sign checks and reporting changes to licensed nurses

• Assisting with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents as needed

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
