As a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) at Astoria Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Providing vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
Assisting with mealtime and feeding residents
Maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Assisting with transferring residents from bed to wheelchairs and back to bed
Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
Provide exceptional patient care and support to our residents
Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and activities
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and services
Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and respectful care to all residents
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a state-approved STNA program
Currently certified as a State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) in the state of Ohio
Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
