Job summary

Avenue at North Ridgeville is seeking State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to provide hands-on care in a hotel-like skilled nursing facility in North Ridgeville, Ohio.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, maintain a safe, clean environment, and support residents with dignity and empathy while following facility protocols and policies.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene assistance to residents
• Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs
• Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse
• Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs
• Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions
• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance
• Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts
• Use nursing home equipment properly and safely
• Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment
• Attend required in-service training programs
• Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing
