Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center in Columbus, Ohio seeks a State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our dedicated care team. You will provide direct nursing care, assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and support staff with policy adherence and training, ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment.

The ideal candidate holds an active STNA license, communicates in English, and collaborates well with others.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a State Tested Nursing Assistant in this state
• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must be a supportive team member and promote teamwork
• Must be able to make independent decisions when necessary
• Knowledgeable of nursing practices, regulations, and guidelines for nursing care facilities
• Leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to supervise other personnel

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with daily living activities and mobility
• Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the nursing team
• Supervise and educate STNAs and Facility personnel on policies and procedures
• Participate in staff development, in-service training, and orientation
• Maintain a clean, safe environment following safety and sanitation protocols
• Ensure equipment and supplies are properly maintained and used
• Review care plans daily and communicate changes to the supervisor
