Aventura Health Group in Walton Hills is hiring State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to join our caring team. We offer compassionate, patient-focused care with flexible shifts and support for your professional growth.

Positions available Part-Time and Full-Time (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with affordable health plans, dental and vision options, daily pay, 401(k), and a friendly work environment that values teamwork and dependable staffing.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid STNA certification in the state of employment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 6 months of experience in long-term care or assisted living.
• Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, dependable and patient-focused.
• Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents and perform job tasks.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs as directed.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, transfers and use of assistive devices.
• Observe and report changes to nursing staff.
• Answer call lights promptly and provide needed assistance.
• Help with meals, tray setup and feeding assistance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Keep resident rooms clean, organized and safe.
• Provide respectful, compassionate care per care plans.
• Follow facility policies, state regulations and infection control protocols.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education.
