Job summary

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is seeking a State Special Projects Manager to support cross-departmental operational efforts in states across the campaign. This role collaborates with organizing, operations, voter access, GOTV and other teams to advance statewide priorities and ensure timely, high-quality execution.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, hard-working and able to work long hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of project or program management experience in any field.
  • Strong commitment to Democratic values and enthusiasm for electing Democrats to the US Senate.
  • Goal-oriented and self-disciplined; able to meet tight deadlines and multitask.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and shift priorities when needed.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Access to a cell phone, laptop, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
  • Must be able to work in-person within the assigned state throughout the campaign cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Department Support — Work across organizing, operations, voter access, GOTV, and other departments to support the successful execution of statewide and regional priorities.
  • Special Projects — Take on short and long-term projects based on organizational needs, including projects that require coordination across multiple departments or regions.
  • Project Execution & Coordination — Assist with a wide range of projects from planning through completion, helping manage timelines, track progress, coordinate logistics, and ensure key tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Event Support — Support in-person campaign activities, including events, trainings, voter access events, and other major program moments.
  • Materials & Logistics — Help prepare, organize, distribute, and transport materials, supplies, equipment, and other resources needed by teams in the states.
  • Tracking & Planning — Maintain project trackers, organize information, monitor deadlines and deliverables, and help departments develop clear plans for completing time-sensitive work.
  • Team Support — Provide hands‑on support to staff and departments as needs arise, troubleshooting logistical or operational challenges and stepping into priority projects during particularly busy periods.
  • Voter Access Support — Assist in recruiting voter access volunteers. Support the planning for and recruitment for the election observer program. Assist in the planning and execution of the voter protection ballot curing program.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) is seeking a Special Projects Manager to support crossdepartmental operational efforts in various states. The Special Projects Manager will work closely with all departments to support organizational and voter access priorities. This role is an opportunity to be on the front lines of winning a Democratic Senate majority, and be part of a hard-working, mission‑driven team working diligently to support democratic candidates. This job is ideal for someone who is adaptable, hard-working, efficient under pressure and committed to high quality work. Key Responsibilities
