Job summary

Progressive regonal CPA firm is seeking an Audit Manager with a State and Local Government specialization. Hybrid work environment with relocation assistance is offered, along with a fast track to Director/Partnership. The Manager will oversee multiple audits, liaise with partners and clients, and lead staff development.

Responsibilities include budgeting, engagement planning, and ensuring adherence to GAAP, GASB, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance. Travel may be required to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of public accounting experience in government sector.
• CPA license required.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple audits and client engagements concurrently.
• Serve as liaison between Partner, clients, and staff.
• Develop staff and lead in client relationship management.
• Lead budgeting and engagement scoping discussions.
• Provide guidance on GAAP, GASB and auditing standards.
