Job summary

KPMG LLP is actively seeking a Senior Associate in Customer & Operations within our Advisory practice. This role focuses on delivering large public sector engagements, particularly around transportation systems and Enterprise Asset Management, while managing risk and client relationships across the lifecycle of complex projects.

Ideal candidates have senior-level consulting experience in government environments, a strong technical background, and the ability to travel up to 50% to support client

Qualifications

• Three years of management consulting experience in the public sector
• Bachelor's degree in technical sciences or information systems and/or related technical background / certifications in EAM
• Experience delivering transportation related solutions including IBM Maximo; hands-on project lifecycle experience
• Experience providing enterprise architecture analysis and design services for large scale system implementations
• Knowledge of supporting transportation infrastructure
• Ability to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of large, complex public sector/state/local government engagements, focusing on transportation systems and Enterprise Asset Management
• Execute methodologies and solutions for the public sector in Enterprise Asset Management
• Handle engagement risk, budgeting, account receivables, and deliverable content to obtain buy-in from top management
• Maintain relationships with state/local government agencies and partners to generate new business in Enterprise Asset Management
• Evaluate projects technically, assess risks in requirements, processes, testing, controls, communications, and change management
• Collaborate with client teams, Asset Managers, and client supervisors/technician roles in asset management operations
