Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a State Licensed Journeyman with 5–10 years of experience for challenging electrical work on heavy civil projects, including bridges and marine work.

The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to think creatively to keep projects moving forward. Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, installing and maintaining cable tray systems, performing control wiring, documenting field reports, and ensuring compliance with plans, codes, and safety

Qualifications

• Current Washington and Oregon License as a Journeyman (required).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in the field.
• Experience on heavy civil projects including bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment installation, heavy steel, and marine work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Install, maintain, and work with cable tray systems and cabling.
• Perform control wiring and terminations with accuracy and quality.
• Complete required project documentation and field reports.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Assist with planning and layout of daily electrical tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and subcontractors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
