Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a State Licensed Journeyman with 5–10 years of experience to join our wiring team on heavy civil projects across multiple sites. You will read electrical drawings, install cable trays, perform control terminations, and help plan daily tasks while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 100% travel (70+ mile per diem) with Washington and Oregon licenses, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle complex field challenges in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• State license in WA and OR is required.
• 5–10 years of field experience in electrical work.
• Experience on heavy civil projects preferred.
• Ability to travel 100% to project sites.
• Strong reading of electrical drawings and specs.
• Commitment to safety, quality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specs.
• Install, maintain, and work with cable tray systems and cabling.
• Perform control wiring and terminations with accuracy and quality.
• Complete required project documentation and field reports.
• Ensure all work complies with plans, specs, codes and safety standards.
• Assist with planning and layout of daily electrical tasks.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and subcontractors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
