Job summary

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection seeks a Government Operations Consultant I in Tallahassee to support the Division of State Lands. You will oversee State-Owned Lands Inventory systems, generate reports, and coordinate workflows using Salesforce, SharePoint and Jira.

This role emphasizes data analysis, documentation, testing, and collaboration with a cross‑functional team. You will contribute to planning, data cleansing, and system improvements while maintaining end‑user guides

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer technology, databases and SQL.
• Ability to analyze data and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with SharePoint and Jira is preferred.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills (end-user guides, reports).

Responsibilities

• Conduct organizational studies and evaluate office procedures.
• Administer applications, workflows, and databases for the SOLI team.
• Develop end-user documentation and training materials.
• Design, generate, and deploy reports via Word, Excel, Visio, Salesforce and QLIK.
• Provide troubleshooting support and coordinate user requests with the team.
• Assist with testing, data cleansing, and migration activities.
• Maintain application security roles and related administration tools.
• Support SharePoint site design and content updates.
