Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, real estate, environmental or natural science, or related field and two years of professional experience in public lands management or related fields.
• Or graduation from high school or equivalent and four years of professional experience as described above.
• Or one year of experience as a State Land Agent I in Nevada State service.
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.

Responsabilités

• Acquire land and interests in lands through negotiations or condemnation; determine fair market value and review appraisals.
• Negotiate agreements for best price and use; prepare escrow closing documents and transfer funds to close transactions.
• Manage unassigned State land and navigate boundaries; inspect properties for compliance and report encroachments.
• Solicit bids for contracts; oversee appraisals, title, escrow, surveys and related services; resolve disputes.
